Purpose The purpose is to describe new business opportunities within the Swedish railway industry and support development of models that corresponds with needs requirements Industry 4.0, here denoted as Service Management 4.0. Design/methodology/approach study an in-depth descriptive case system specific focus on a vehicle maintainer.
